Ingredients

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb ground lamb (or beef)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp dried rosemary
  • ½ cup frozen peas
  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Mashed Potato Topping:

  • 2 large russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare the Potatoes: In the Hell’s Kitchen Cookware 7.5 QT Pot - boil potatoes in the salted water until fork-tender. Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Stir in cheese if using. Then set aside.
  2. Cook the Filling: Heat the Hell’s Kitchen 4 QT Sauté Pan over medium heat. Add olive oil, onions, carrots, and garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add ground lamb or beef, breaking it apart as it browns. Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Simmer for 10 minutes until thickened and stir in frozen peas.
  5. Assemble & Finish: Spread mashed potatoes evenly over the meat mixture. Then place the Hell’s Kitchen Cookware 4 QT Sauté Pan in the oven, broil for 3-5 minutes until golden brown. 

Dublin Coddle

A rustic, slow-simmered Irish dish made with sausages, potatoes, and onions. This one-pot meal is packed with deep, savory flavors, made even better with Hell’s Kitchen Cookware.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Irish or thick-cut pork sausages
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken or beef broth
  • ½ cup Irish beer (optional)
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Directions

  1. Heat Hell’s Kitchen 5 QT Pot over medium heat. Add bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, brown sausages on all sides (about 3-4 minutes). Remove and slice into large pieces.
  3. In the bacon grease, sauté onions and garlic until softened. Layer potatoes over the onions.
  4. Return the sausages and bacon to the pan. Pour in broth (and beer if using), season with thyme, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Corned Beef & Cabbage

A St. Patrick’s Day must-have! This tender, slow-cooked corned beef with hearty vegetables is a crowd-pleaser. Made effortlessly in the Hell’s Kitchen 7.5 QT Pot.

 

Ingredients

  • 3-4 lb corned beef brisket with spice packet
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 3 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 4 medium carrots, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 4 medium potatoes, quartered
  • 1 small green cabbage, cut into wedges
  • 6 cups water (or enough to cover brisket)
  • 1 bottle (12 oz) Guinness beer (optional)

Directions

  1. Place corned beef in the Hell’s Kitchen 7.5 QT Pot (or 5 QT Pot). Add onion, garlic, spice packet, and enough water (or Guinness) to cover the meat.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer. Cover and cook for 2.5-3 hours, or until fork-tender.
  3. Add potatoes and carrots to the pot. Cook for another 30 minutes until tender.
  4. Add cabbage wedges and cook for 15 more minutes until softened but still vibrant.
  5. Remove corned beef and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with vegetables and spoon some cooking broth over everything for extra flavor.
